By the seashore summer card created by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers and crafters.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I was so happy that I had a moment this morning where I felt' the peace' to create. Yip, I just SEASed the day. Everything went as I had planned it  and I actually had an hour to myself.

So perfect! I loved it. I listened to some Bach music in the background and it wasn't hard to come up with an idea for my card.

The Paper Players Theme Challenge of this week #148 was the perfect start for my card this morning.

When you hop over to their blog then you will see their Summer Holiday inspiration cards. There are so many sweet and summery ones.

I can't wait to ad mine to the beautiful bunch of them all. (is that even English.. oh well :)

As you can see I used one of the images of the 'By the Seashore' Stampin Up stamp set. What a gorgeous set it is. I used some different colours of blue SU card stock and just started to torn them in different strips. After that it was just a matter of layering them on top each other and voila.. there was my ocean!

I am sure I am not the one who invented this idea of tearing apart card stock.. I just thought of it while I was sitting in my studio.. Anyhoo..  it sure looks cool and fresh with these ocean images.

I am sure the release of the new 2013 - 2014 Stampin Up Catalogue didn't pass you by last week. I love so many of the new stamp sets and I can't wait for the UPS man to knock on our door this week :)

I will keep you posted for sure!
