Hi dear Stampers.

I just wanted to show you this quick card, that I created this afternoon with my new Pinwheel - Sizzlits Die from Stampin Up. Can it get any cuter?

It is this tiny little die, that cuts each time this perfectly sharp image. And all I had to do was fold the little flaps in the right direction and add a little brad in the tiny holes that were also there. VOILA! Oh, how I love playing with paper.

Don’t ever grow up! :)

Finished pinwheel: 2" x 2". Cuts a single sheet of paper with your Big Shot, Multipurpose Platform, and Standard Cutting Pads.

Hello Doily and Framelits Labels Collection dies card by Stampin Up and me

Hi Dear Stampers.

For those of you new to my site, Welcome, My name is Pauline Kolochuk and I am a Stampin' Up Independent Demonstrator in the Calgary, Alberta, Canada  area, but I sell these beautiful products to people from all over Canada through my Online SU store.!

Here is one of the cards that I had created for yesterdays workshop. There is lots of Sale-A-Bration going on in there :)

Before I show you a bit on what I did yesterday at my workshop, I would first like to show you were I found my inspiration for my card. I was kinda late with my prepping for this workshop, so I was so glad I found this beautiful layout. It is so easy to work with. I love it! The sweet Jaydee from the Paper Players gave us one beautiful Layout Challenge #134.  I turned their sketch a bit to the left and look what showed up :)

My card :)

Yesterday in the afternoon my dear friend Shelley hosted a Stampin Up workshop with me in her home. I so love this woman's passion and joy for everything paper crafting. She really has a beautiful heart and she is so creative and talented.  I am also so thankful for her, because she was a huge help as well.

Thanks dear Shelley for your generousity in so many ways! & I was so impressed that at the end of the workshop you still had managed to create about 4 beautiful projects!

The great thing is, that she lives in the same neighbourhood as me. She had invited all these sweet ladies that send their children to the same school as me and my hubby do. Now, what a treat it was to be able to spend some crafting time with all these ladies. And you know how it goes when you pick up your kids from school. It is busy, you have places to go after you pick them up and there are just children everywhere running around.. So it was real fun to hang out with all of them and chat and create.

And as you can see, these sweet ladies rocked this workshop. While creating and having fun, they were thinking outside of the box, they came up with new ideas, new colour combinations, I loved it.  I think they all learned some new techniques as well, which is always such a great bonus, right?

Oh, I wish I had taken some more pictures to show you. The room was booming with beauties of cards and gift card holders.. Some woman had already left before I could take a picture of what they had created and some cards I thought I had taken a picture of, but then I didn't.. or the photo that I had taken was all fuzzy.. (sigh) Anyhoo.. I hope these photo's give you a little impression of our afternoon. It was good!

I think that we have used the Big Shot for about every card this afternoon. (smile) We embossed, we were die cutting. We used the Framelits - Labels Collection Dies from Stampin Up. (#125598 - $32.95)

Please CLICK HERE if you would like to purchase this beauty in my online store.

The innovative, thin, wafer-like design of these dies lets you see where you’re placing the design before you cut! Layer dies inside each other to cut frames for stamp images. Cut single labels for accents or layering. Use with single sheets of card stock or Designer Series Paper. Labels Collection coordinates with our Apothecary Art Stamp Set. Largest label is approximately 5-7/16" wide. Includes 6 dies in a sturdy envelope for easy storage in our Big Shot Die Storage

Here is another gorgeous card. Don't you love the pop of colour and the Honeycomb Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (#129378 - $9.95) that she used to bring that extra layer of texture to her card?

Please CLICK HERE if you would like to Embossing folder to your shopping card.

Do you see the Hello Doily (#122847 - $16.95 clear mount stamp) in the background..  Doesn't it gives each card such a sweet and vintage look? Please CLICK HERE if you would like to purchase this stamp set.

Please remember, that there is one for sale with a wooden block and one for the Clear Mount block.

I also love how the Old Olive card stock of Stampin Up. It just never disappoints. It is such a rich colour. And so fun to work with.

Stampin' Up!'s high-quality card stock is dyed with pure color all the way through, so you'll never get a white core! Available as individual color packages, you'll love having plenty of your favorite colors on hand!

■ 80-lb. weight
■ 24 sheets per package
■ Card stock is acid free, lining free, and buffered

Well.. I guess that's it for today.

I hope you have some time in your day to create.

Inky hugs, Pauline

Hello Doily and Vintage Verses birthday card by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers,

Thanks for stopping by.

I am still in the middle of prepping for my card workshop that is coming up this Sunday afternoon here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I am getting excited. It is such a great time to host a workshop during Sale -A-Bration.

During Sale-A-Bration the hostess will receive a beautiful package of glimmer paper. And on top of that she can use the hostess dollars to order anything she would like from the current SU catalogue + she can earn for every $60 she spends on her own order a free Sale-A-Bration item.

This is one of the cards that the ladies will be making.

We're going to have 3 tables, where the dear ladies can rotate on and craft their hearts out.

I hope they will enjoy this card. I absolutely love it and it isn't to hard to create this one. I have pre-cut the card stock layers, the ribbon, so it will not be hard to get this beautiful clean and simple look.

Deciding to have a Stampin' Up! Party is deciding to spend some time having fun with your friends. Crafting together and shopping. What could be better?

You get them together, provide the tea and coffee, maybe a little snack and I will do the rest!

If some of your friends are new to stamping I will introduce them to the basics and I will share some hints and tips with the more experienced members of the group. Then we will all make some gorgeous cards or embellishments together.

As your friends shop, I will be there to answer any crafting questions that you may have and to help you all choose products that you will enjoy using and which will fire your creative imagination.
Please contact me if you would like to book a pary or workshop.

I created this card with the Just Add Ink Challenge #154 in mind. Their theme of this week is: 'Just Add Pop up' to your card. I love layering my cards and giving it some dimension. So it was the perfect challenge for my day! Thanks for the inspiration dear ladies!

Well, I am off into our kitchen. It is that time of day again.

Inky hugs, Pauline

Petite Pocket Big Shot die gift card holders created by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

I am glad you took some time in your day to stop by. Welcome!

Today, I was working on another project for my upcoming workshop here in Calgary, Alberta

And yes, I know, it's already late in the evening, but I didn't want to wait until tomorrow with posting my super cute gift card holders that I created with my Petite Pocket Big Shot Die from Stampin Up. (#123131 - $52.95)

Use this adorable pocket to enclose small, thoughtful gifts and delightful surprises! The innovative designs in these longer Bigz dies give you new and interesting creative options. Use with Extended Premium Crease Pads. The Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die works best using only one layer at a time. Measures 6" x 13-3/4".

I loved how easy it was to roll this die through my Big Shot. Fold it, glue it and dress it up.

I started with the beautiful color palette created by the Play Date Cafe Challenge #168.
Their projects were amazing. I loved each one of them and I couldn't wait to get going with these colors on my own creations.

But after I was done with my first gift card holder, I didn't want to stop. I wanted to see how it would like like with other colours. And other designs.

And as you can see, each one of them is loaded with the sweetest Stampin Up goodies. I used punches and embossing folders, sparkles and inks.. I seriously had a blast and I can't wait to show these in 2 weeks to the ladies that are coming to the workshop.

Pss: if you live in the Calgary area and you would like to join us at the card / paper craft workshop, please convo me and I can give you the details. It is on a Sunday afternoon, February the 24th. Me and the girls would love to connect with you.

On one of the little gift card / little noets holders ,I used the Delicate Designs Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (#127023 - $10.95) Aren't they gorgeous?

2 folders to emboss card edges (ea. 6-1/2" x 2-5/16"). Coordinates with Large Scallop Edgelits Dies. Textured Impressions Embossing Folders emboss a single sheet of paper and make deep impressions. Use with the Big Shot, Standard Cutting Pads, and the Multipurpose Platform.

I had also hopped over to the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog #29. I always get such a kick out of the Clean and Simple projects that the sweet ladies make. They take a runway outfit photo and let the photo inspire you to create a project.

In this weeks Challenge there was a lot of pink, crumb cake-ish and cream-ish colours, bold lines and a hint of vintage beauty. I hope my cards reflects those themes..

Well, it's late.. very late.. way to late for this SAHM ...
I seriously need to hop over to my own bed :)

Inky hugs, Pauline

All dressed up birthday card by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

Have you seen the new "All Dressed Up" stamp set and coordinating Framelits Dies from the new 2013 Stampin' Up! Spring Mini catalog?!

I have to say, I am in love.. And I can see myself making loads of cuties just like these.

Today I hopped for the first time over to the Seize the Birthday Challenge site. Their challenge #5 really spoke to me.. I loved the layout. Simple and clean, I knew I could work with it easily. So when my kids were having fun playing outside in the sun (yes we had some sun outside today here in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.) I dove into my studio and started creating.

They actually have such a cute prize for the winner of this weeks challenge.. I am crossing my fingers, cause you never know right :)

Here is an inside peek at my card.

Don't you love it, when the images and the sentiments blend so well together?

And ofcourse I wanted to play along with the Paper Players Color Challenge of this week #132. The colors were perfect for what I had in mind. Ann matched them up so well.

Do you recognise this sentiment from the Sale-A-Bration 2013 'Vintage Verses' stamp set. It can be yours with 3 other cuties of sentiments, when you place an order through my store of $60.

PLEASE CLICK HERE to start shopping.

Tea Shoppe thank you card created by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

It is Saturday and we are taking it easy in this home today. It was a busy week and nothing is better on a Saturday morning, than having no where to go.

I had some tea with the kids, we crafted a bit, they played and I crafted a bit,

all around fun, fun, FUN!!

When I saw this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge # 72 that Cindy created for us,  I knew I wanted to play along.

They asked for CAS cards.. Well, you know me, I am all for that. I just don't seem to have that shabby chic gene in me. I seriously do not know how to implement Shabby in any of my cards.. Kinda sad, maybe one day... But Clean And Simple.. that's my cup of tea..

Well I have to say, whatever your tea preference is, this delightful, vintage-inspired ten-piece set has a cup just for you. It coordinates with the Modern Label and Scallop Oval Punches and the Chamomile Stampin' Around Wheel. Use the masking technique to stack the smaller tea cups inside one another for a charming effect!

CLICK HERE to visit my online Stampin Up store if you would like to purchase this super sweet Tea Shoppe set. (#125547 - $33.95)

The Case Study Challenge #127 had one beauty of a card to inspire us.

I loved the frames around the main images that Teri Anderson created on her beautiful card. & wow, BIG WOW, I hopped over to her blog and she is amazing in what she does. (Hi Teri)

Anyhoo.. My card of today is all about frames as you can see, so I think the Mojo bug definitely hopped over to me after I visited their site.

And last but not least. The sweet Casual Friday Ladies had one inspiring theme with their 89-th Challenge this week.

Can you guess?

Yip, it's 'Love song'.

Did you know that there is actually a song that is dedicated to coffee and tea.

It is called 'I love coffee, I love tea.

CLICK HERE, to connect to YouTube and hear it for yourself..

Don't tell anyone, but I hum this song in the morning when I brew my teas and coffees. (smile)

Well, that's it dear you,

I hope you enjoyed my post of today and as always it is such a treat to hear from you..

(hum, hum.. I love comments, yes I do.. hum hum)

Inky hugs, Pauline
