heart and star punch Stampin Up card

Hi dear Stampers.
I hope you had a beautiful Christmas!
It is such a special time of the year.
We enjoyed my hubbies parents so much while they were here.
Our kids adore them and so do we!

Wowsy.. it's been way to long since I had the time to post on my blog.
This card I created a while ago with some of my Stampin Up punches.
I love how it turned out. And it was such an easy card to create.

We gave our oldest daugther this Christmas a box full of beautiful Stampin Up goodies!
She loves creating cards with me and to have her own box of craft supplies, was her dream come true.
Here she is taking a peek at it all.
Isn't she the sweetest, can't wait to see what she creates with it.

Here is our Nativity set. I just wanted to show it to you, because I think this artist of Willow Tree,
did such an amazing job putting it together.
It is such a beautiful set and I was so happy I could put it up again this Christmas.

Well, that's all for today.
Inky hugs, Pauline

Naturals Designer Buttons love card by Stampin Up and me

Good Monday Morning dear Stampers.
Just a quick little post from me today.
I have some catching up to do in this home of mine.

I love the natural wood look in my card that the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from Stampin Up gave me. . (#127821 - $(9.95)
It is the perfect card background for any season.
Folder: 4-1/2" x 6-3/8". Use with Big Shot machine, Multipurpose Platform, and Standard Cutting Pads.

I created this card with the Colour Queen #164 in mind. It's good for me to be challenged in using some different colours these days. Crumb Cake is one I almost use every time I create a card. So I was happy to play with some other colours.
I wanted to keep it simple and clean looking.

I am in love with these Naturals Designer Buttons from Stampin Up (#.127554)
They are just perfect. For $6.95 you get 24 of the cutest buttons.

Add a trendy, wood-like adornment to your cards and projects.
• 24 buttons: 8 ea. of 3 designs
• Sizes: 3/8"; 5/8"; 7/8"

Well..
Have a beautiful rest of the day.
Inky hugs, Pauline

Christmas Lodge Christmas card by Stampin Up and me

Good morning dear everyone!

Thanks for stopping by. I love to have you visit.

Guess what, today's my 39th Birthday.

I love it! I am so happy to be alive, to be healthy and to have a family that loves me.

To have so many beautiful and sweet friends who care about me.

Through Facebook alone, I think I had over 120 of the sweetest little message from all of my friends and family. They seriously live somewhere all over this big world of us. I loved reading each one of them. FB rocks. I am blessed!

Here is a sweet photo of my dear family.

They mean the world to me!

Yip, pearls, pearls, pearls... what's a girl.. I mean card,  without her, I mean - it's little bling :)

What do you think of this cute card? My oldest daugther created it.

We were making cards yesterday together and she wanted to make a Christmas card for one of her friends. I love what she made. So sad to see the card go.. hahaha.. It is just so cute. SO I thought, I am just going to make a photo of it and post it on my blog :) And there you go!

I love spending this kind of time with her. She is so crafty and so sweet. And I love seeing her enjoying herself, while she is doing something she is so passionate about :)

You might be wondering where I got this cute little house image from. It is from the Christmas Lodge Stampin Up stamp set. I love every image and sentiment that comes with it.

For $31.95, you will get 6 of the most precious stamps. (#123769 - page 13 of you SU catalogue)

I used the Layout of this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge # 268

What a great sketch to work with! Please play along, if it inspires you :)

I don't know how they come up with so many beautiful layouts. All I know is, that I am just a happy camper using them in my cards.

I have to say. Old Olive is so my must go to - kinda colour, when it's about Christmas cards..

It has such a nice sweetness to it!

Well.. I gotta go.

Have a beautiful day!

Again thanks for stopping by. I would love to read your comments.

They always make me smile :) I so appreciate them.

Inky hugs, Pauline

Lovely as a tree Christmas card by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

Today I though I’d pop in with a quick Christmas Card featuring a bit of an elegant take on a traditional Christmas scene - the Christmas tree.

The other day I walked into the Pottery Barn store here in Calgary and in my humble opinion.. their store was SOOO beautifully decorated with everything Christmassy - under the sun.. I loved it! If only I had the money.. I would transfer this store into our home :) There were 3 huge Christmas trees with 3 different themes. Just a beautiful sight for the eyes. I tell you, I could just sit on one of these comfy couches there and read a book, have a cappuccino and relax.. It smelled great in there, the music was so peaceful.. But he! I didn't do that just yet, but it sure all inspired me for this card.

These are all Stampin Up products I used on my card.

Some products I used are now sadly retired and some are still available through my online Stampin Up  store.

If you don't have any of these pearls at home to ad to your cards. I would highly recommend you getting some. Please click HERE, to visit my online store.

For $6.50 you will get 150 beautifully crafted pearls.

Jewels are just as magical in paper crafting as in fashion. Add a pearl here, a rhinestone there, and your projects take a subtle step up. With our pearl basic jewels, it’s easy to add a touch of class to your projects in an instant.

• Small, self-adhesive pearls

• 150 pearls per package; 50 each of 3 sizes (2 mm, 3 mm, and 5 mm)

• Each package also includes three 2-5/8" strips of connected pearls perfect for borders

And did you know that for the next 8 days you will be able to order a set of 150 Rhinestones / jewels for only $4.55, instead of the $6.50 they usually are.

They are on sale now at the Online Extravaganza Sale of Stampin Up.

Please CLICK HERE to ad these beauties to your Card making supplies!

What do you think of my own little jewels.

I am so excited about these photo's of our 3 kiddo's.
We so love them.

(this photo is for my dear friend Ellie. :) I tried to explain to her how I love the 'fake' flowers I got on sale at the Pottery Barn last week and how they just make me smile.
Anyhoo.. a picture says more than a thousands words, right.

I always love stopping over at the CASU-AL FRIDAYS.
This week their Challenge # 79 is all about Winter Blues!
Well, Calgary is also all about winter these past few weeks.
Snow is everywhere and cold that it was today. Brrrr.
So here is my take on their challenge :)

Trees, glorious trees! With a variety of trees to choose from, the Lovely As a Tree set offers so many options. Stamp a solitary tree or stamp an image multiple times to create your own forest.

I used one of the images of my Lovely as a Tree Stampin Up stamp set.
For $33.95 you will get this gorgeous set of 6 wooden stamps.
(#115026)

Well, that's all for now dear you.
Have a beautiful evening and as always I would love to hear from you!
Inky hugs, Pauline

Make a mitten Christmas card by Stampin Up and me

Hi dear Stampers.

Happy Monday to you!
And a beautiful Thanksgiving to all my dear friends in the USA.
Enjoy your family, your friends and yourself during this special day!

How did your weekend go?
I seriously can't believe that it is only 5 more weeks until it is Christmas.
Don't these weeks fly by?

I haven't posted many Christmas cards yet on my blog this year. I am not sure why.
But I am glad this one is kicking off my Christmas cards. I love all the colours. The Old Olive, the Crumb Cake and whisper white are just a recipe for success!

And I have to say that my Stampin Up Mitten builder Punch (#127824 - $21,95)  just rocked it!
What a fun punch to use!

The three little kittens lost their mittens? We think we may have a few of them here! Tiny mitten images and borders make adorable accents for all of your winter cards and paper crafting projects. This ten-piece set coordinates with our Mitten Builder Punch.

This morning I hopped over to the Catered Crop Card Challenge Blog.
This is what they had to say about their fun Arsenic and old Lace Challenge of this week:

Your challenge is to add lace to your paper craft projects. For extra credit get a little crazy and add "arsenic" to your project. By arsenic, I mean something a little rugged or rustic, like kraft paper, hemp twine or burlap. Combining frilly lace with rustic textures is such a stunning combination, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

I hope you can see the ARSENIC edge to my card and the 'paper lace ' on the inside of my card. :)

Thanks ladies for the inspiration in all your beautiful cards.

Well, what can I say..

Enjoy your Monday and create away!

Inky hugs, Pauline
